What Are They Up To?

Music continues to play a major role in Michael’s life. He performs with the Vassar College Choir and Madrigal Singers, and has added the organ to the list of instruments he studies. In his limited spare time, he is collaborating with Caroline on their next musical, about women and music in the media.

Caroline is working on her first solo film project for her production class at St. Mary’s. When not writing plays or songs, she’s studying musical theater. Current reading includes the autobiography of famed lyricist, Alan Jay Lerner. So far this year, she’s seen Gigi starring Vanessa Hudgens, the new John Kander musical, Kid Victory, and the Sheryl Crow musical, Diner.

Rebecca spends a better part of each week singing with Smith College’s First Year Chorus and their A Capella group, Groove. She has also embarked on drawing large-scale portraits of the women of color who live and work at Smith.

Michael, Caroline and Rebecca are working to develop a cabaret in the Washington, DC area in the summer of 2015 to showcase Michael and Caroline’s new songs.
